What's hip, what's cool at The Podium

Innovative young designers showcased their latest collections at the recent Markati Palazzo fashion show at The Podium.

Located at the fourth floor of The Podium, Markati Palazzo has been an exciting style station for the metro’s fashionable set since it opened at the mall early this year. The fashion show revealed fresh takes on design and elegance, as expressed by its boutique designers.

Bobon by Puey Quinones infused rich natural fabrics with playfully sophisticated and intricately detailed pieces. Stella’s star designers Louis Claparols, Mitzi Quilendrino, and Eric de los Santos showcased their stylish tops and dresses.

Janna Mendoza’s V collection showcased her skillfully designed classic line, while Gail Angeles of Wisdom refreshed the audience with her girly and feminine pieces. Central’s cool team — Hazel Santos, Niccolo Jonsay, and Kathy Cavilte — had outfits with lots of color and attitude.

Navarro’s corporate wear and Rugged Door’s trendy casual clothes were a hit with men, while Rebie Ramoso and Kristine Calleja’s Radar Pridewear challenged gender convention in women’s wear.

Hotpink Lingerie revealed boudoir pieces for elegant women, while Laura’s jewels dazzled the audience with her exquisite collection of precious and semi-precious jewelry and evening handbags and purses.
