Street Style:Who made what?

The event was Mega magazine’s Young Designers’ Competition presented by Samsung, and the attire called for something locally made.
Some followed, some didn’t.
I met a few young and wide-eyed, upcoming designers milling around the Crowne Plaza Galleria, in the midst of seasoned designers, stylists, photographers, makeup artists and models –wearing each other’s creations.
Ten years from now these wide-eyed upstarts will be the seasoned ones and there’ll be a fresh batch of newbies wanting to change Philippine fashion.
Hopefully we’ll still be around when that time comes.
