No one understands the concept of beauty better than two doctors who have dedicated much of their time and effort to uplifting lives through bringing out the best in each person.
Manny Calayan, a cosmetic and liposuction surgeon, and Pie Calayan, a dermatologist, have a modern practice today. They put up their own clinic, the Calayan SurgiCentre, which combines state-of-the-art machines and highly personalized service for customers.
"Our clinic is DOH-certified as an ambulatory surgical center," Manny proudly declares. "Meaning, we can perform the surgeries in our list of services without having to be in a hospital. We are also accredited by Philippine Medical Tourism."

One of the newest procedures it offers is the Tenor Laser (Non-surgical Liposuction). "This is the newest technology after Smartlipo Laserlipolisis," Pie explains. "It melts off excess fat and removes cellulite or even stretch marks. The affected area is heated to 40 degrees and radio frequency is used. It also allows contouring of the face and butt, as well as other parts of the body. In the case of the buttocks, it gives butt lift result. The Tenor Laser is also ideal for post-lipo maintenance."
If Smartlipo is remarkable, the Tenor Laser is revolutionary. The procedure is fast; it requires no downtime and results are seen instantly. There is no age restriction as well – anyone can have it done. The only condition is that with young ladies, they must have had started their periods already before they can be qualified for it. "We found out that the pores also get smaller," Pie shares. "So if you do it on your cheeks, the skin will become finer and smoother. Aside from that, it also diminishes chicken skin." She adds, "I’d like to do the laser on myself more often, but I don’t really have the time. After we’re finished for the day, I’m too tired already."
