Beautiful skin is a womans asset. Having great skin gives a woman confidence and makes her feel good about herself. But with summer upon us, we women are more prone to damage and blemish more obstacles in our quest for rosy-white skin.
Lots of whitening products are available on the market today and are vying for our attention. However, some contain ingredients that could peel the skin and cause even more damage. We need skin-whitening products that are effective and yet gentle on the skin at the same time. And this is where Ponds comes in.
Recently, the Ponds Institute introduced Ponds Skin Whitening Vitamin Leave-on Range with a fashion show at the Ayala Museum. Three designers created unique Ponds collections to celebrate the "perfect moments" a woman goes through in her lifetime. Rajo Laurel showcased prom dresses that featured girly and light silhouettes. Dennis Lustico created textile-oriented debut gowns inspired by 50s royalty. Randy Ortizs collection displayed vintage glamour for the perfect first date. All three designers created a wedding collection for the finale.
"Ponds chose these three designers because they understand Ponds philosophy of empowering women to be as beautiful as they want to be," says Francis Flores, Ponds brand group manager. "With the clothes they design, they clearly understand the need for women to look and feel good about themselves."
After the fashion show, there was a sneak preview of ABS-CBNs Perfect Moments TV show, which aims to help women prepare for their perfect moments. The highlight of the event was the unveiling of the whitening line. The Ponds Skin Whitening Vitamin Leave-on Range contains pearl vita-nutrients, which gives women even-toned, rosy-white complexion. It is dermatologically-tested to be gentle for daily use.
Heres how the new Ponds line works. Only the right ingredients are utilized to achieve a fairer complexion. Pearl vita-nutrients contain Vitamin B3, which lightens dark areas, making the skin glow in just two weeks. The pearl nutrients also reduce blemishes like pimple scars and dark spots, leaving the skin smooth and soft. The double sunshields protect the skin from harmful UV rays while vitamin C nourishes the skin to enhance fairness. According to Flores, "Ponds is all about empowering women to be as beautiful as they want to be."
The Ponds Whitening Leave-on line comes in cream, fluid and pearl cream to suit each skin type. The rich whitening cream highlights the skin with a sleek matte finish. The whitening fluid illuminates the face with an ultra-light natural finish. The whitening pearl cream enhances the skin with a delicate powder-smooth finish. The good thing about these products is that they act as a makeup base. They also have a light and smooth feel on the face.
"Unilever has been testing and safely marketing skin-lightening products for more than 25 years," assures Dr. John Bartolone, director for face care and chief R&D specialist of the Ponds Institute in the US. "These products have been marketed throughout the world with a primary focus in providing a safe, gentle and desirable skin-lightening benefit," says Bartolone.
A step forward in womens quest for rosy-white skin.
