The biggest advertising coup this side of town happens today at the Don Carlos P. Romulo Theater at the ritzy RCBC building on Ayala Avenue.

For over a year, rumors flew high and thick that Manila’s very own princess was ready to face the public. That multinational corporations were dangling multimillion contracts for her to endorse their products. That a nationwide line of RTW company had gotten her as their image model. And then came more rumors.

And finally – is going public. KC Concepcion, teen daughter of Megastar Sharon Cuneta, will be launched as the image model of Human – entrepreneur Ben Chan’s alternative ready-to-wear label geared for the young and individualistic.

Give it to Ben Chan, moving force behind such glamour brands as Bench, Herbench, PCX, Dimensione Furniture and soon Fix Bench salon.

And it’s not just the money – mind you. The competitive edge that got the nod for our visionary designer is the track record of Ben Chan’s company in taking very good care of his image models – the total packaging, the exposure and the clean image both model and company project.

KC has been, at 16, in everyone’s consciousness. Now, KC will be in everyone’s magazine as cover girl, in newspapers’ lifestyle pages and on everyone’s TV as model.

Definitely one of the prettiest faces to hit the commercial world, KC is definitely bringing a waft of freshness to our sometimes dreary world.
