25 years of German Unity @ New World Hotel
MANILA, Philippines - Ambassador Thomas Ossowski and Parliamentary State Secretary for Economic Affairs and Energy Brigitte Zypries hosted a reception celebrating 25 Years of German Unity. The event, graced by the presence of Philippine Foreign Affairs Secretary Albert del Rosario and Madam Gretchen del Rosario, was attended by about 500 distinguished guests from politics, business and culture.
The occasion also marked the official establishment of the German-Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (GPCCI) as a member of the German Network of Chambers Abroad (AHK). GPCCI, whose accreditation was announced during the visit of President Aquino to Germany in 2014, has grown into a chamber with membership of more than 250 German and Filipino companies.
