La Francophonie Celebration in Manila

MANILA, Philippines - Every March 20th,  Francophonie Day is celebrated all over the world by those who share the French language and the values upheld by the International Organization of La Francophonie. The Philippines took part in the worldwide celebration of the Francophonie this year through a series of activities sponsored by the Francophone embassies of France, Switzerland, Canada, Belgium, Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia, and the Consulate of Monaco, and culminated with a reception hosted by Swiss Ambassador Ivo Sieber and his wife Gracita Tolentino Sieber at their residence.
