TECO fetes Ang Lee @ SM Aura Premier

MANILA, Philippines - The Taipei Economic and Cultural Office (TECO) recently hosted “A Salute to Ang Lee” at SM Aura Premier in partnership with the Film Development Council of the Philippines, 20th Century Fox and SM Cinema. During the event, “Life of Pi”, the film that earned Taiwanese-American Ang Lee his second Academy Award for Best Director – the first being for Brokeback Mountain in 2005 – was screened at the IMAX Theatre at SM Aura Premier. TECO’s “A Salute to Ang Lee” special screening of “Life of Pi” was one of the many exciting events at the IMAX Theatre in SM Aura Premier. Lee received a standing ovation during the open forum.
