Lifestyle Asia’s 26th Anniversary @ Makati Shangri-La

MANILA, Philippines - Lifestyle Asia recently held a gala dinner at the Rizal Ballroom of the Makati Shangri-La. Co-presented by Globe Platinum and Tattoo Black, the occasion, marking the 26th anniversary of one of the leading luxury magazine in the country, was graced by Her Majesty Ashi Tshering Pem Wangchuck, Queen Mother of Bhutan, who flew in for the event.

The Mandaluyong Children’s Choir opened the evening’s program followed by brief welcome remarks from Editor-in-Chief Anna Sobrepeña, “The bedrock of Lifestyle Asia’s tagline, ‘Living at its Finest, are values universally regarded as excellent. It resonates in the Kingdom of Bhutan where King Jigme Sinye Wangchuck conceived the concept of Gross National Happiness as the index of measuring a country’s wealth.” Bhutan’s Queen Mother also addressed the guests, who were quite taken by her regal and gentle demeanor.
