South Africa Celebrates National Day @ Makati Shangri-La

MANILA, Philippines - The Embassy celebrated the 19th National Day recently in style with 345 VIP guests. The event was officiated by the Department of Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Evan Garcia and showcased South African food, wine and music.  Many companies came to ensure that this event would be a success. The Emperors Palace was generous enough to send three of their chefs and front office manager courtesy of Etihad Airways who also flew in authentic ingredients such as mielie-meal, biltong, samp, SAB beer and Hildenbrand Wines.

To seal the deal, Gold Fields Philippines sponsored the performance of South African artist Baby M, under the direction of Pasit Foobunma. Allan Riddell on the other hand, assisted the Embassy in coordinating this fascinating event.
