French Embassy, CCP sign arts education and training partnership

MANILA, Philippines - French Ambassador Gilles Garachon (left) and Cultural Center of the Philippines Vice-President and Artistic Director Chris Millado (right) signed a Memorandum of Agreement for a three-year partnership between the French Embassy and the CCP that would provide training programs and performances for Filipino artists under the guidance of French experts. Running from 2013 to 2015, these projects will include a voice training program by the Paris Conservatory for opera singers in Manila, presentations organized by the European International School-French School Manila, and a contemporary dance or modern circus show under the banner of the annual French-Philippine cultural program, FrancoPhil.
