Philippine Tatler's New Journey @ Makati Shangri-La's RED

MANILA, Philippines - As certain as the ceremonial champagne bottle-breaking on the bow of a new ship, Philippine Tatler launched the maiden issue of Traveller magazine with a chic cocktail party where hospitality and tourism industry bigwigs, the influential, the beautiful and the many loyal friends of the magazine same in attendance. The private bash was held in the elegant restaurant Red at the posh Makati Shangri-La. The shindig started at six o’clock in the evening of the 5th of July 2012 and as the glittering crowd slowly started spilling in like the languid waters of the calm sea, anticipation built up like the mast being raised or the waves swelling slowly when the tide changes from low to high. The voyage of this ship, the Traveller magazine was much-awaited and in order for the sails to be raised, Irene Martel-Francisco shed the concealment to reveal a new title in addition to many of Tatler’s successful and well-consumed magazines.
