MANILA, Philippines - Eid’l Fitr, which comes at the end of the Ramadan, is a time of celebration for Muslims. It is a time of peace, forgiving, giving alms, exchanging gifts, and strengthening ties with family members and friends.
Envisioned as a national tourism activity as well as an opportunity for a better understanding of ethnic, racial, and religious diversity in the Philippines, a 3-day Eid’l Fitr Festival recently took place at the SM Mall of Asia.
