Karen Concepcion's exhibit 'Celebration'

MANILA, Philippines - Karen Fabie Concepcion held her 17th one woman Painting exhibition last August. It was well attended by friends and family at the Ayala Museum’s Artist Space. Karen Concepcion’s exhibit titled “Celebration” is embodied by several works with the themes of Horses, Koi, Cymbidium Orchids, Children and different scenes from the artist’s travels. Smeg, a leading Italian appliance company and a true patron of the arts abroad is endorsing Karen Fabie Concepcion as its first Philippine Artist and is looking forward to start highlighting other Philippine artists as well in the near future. Smeg Philippines has thus started its support of Philippine Art and talent in the country. Part of the proceeds of the sale of the works was donated by the artist to the Educational Fund of the Catholic Women’s League, San Antonio chapter. This fund is to help the needy high school and college students of Makati.
