OshKosh B’Gosh marks 28 years in Philippines

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - OshKosh B’Gosh Philippines, the children’s clothing brand providing casualwear, outerwear and playwear for Filipino kids since the late ’80s, recently celebrated its 28th anniversary with the market segment that matters to it most: B’Gosh babies, kids and kids at heart.

To make the event more meaningful, OKB invited street children from the Makabata School Foundation, Inc. to join in. Makabata is a non-profit foundation that aims to provide formal and non-formal education for street children and out-of-school youth. Along with teaching basic skills to enable them to mold a brighter future for themselves, the foundation also aims to instill values in these students and their families.

All kids who attended the rainbow party were treated to a kiddie meal, fun fashion show, magic and bubble shows, and exciting games and prizes. To complement the program were snack stations for cupcakes and fries, as well as a balloon-twisting booth and kid-friendly hair salon. A portion of the proceeds from the party will also be donated to the Makabata School Foundation.
