GE Power and Water forges training agreement with Sealed Air
MANILA, Philippines - GE Power and Water recently forged an agreement with Sealed Air’s Hygiene Team with a capability and knowledge training on water treatment and management systems.
This milestone partnership brought together two global market leaders with complementary strengths and world-class technologies. Sealed Air is a leading provider of sustainable cleaning, sanitation and hygiene solutions while GE Power and Water provides a wide range of advanced power generation and water optimization technologies for a cleaner and more productive world. GE Philippines is actively pursuing growth initiatives in ASEAN in all of the company’s diverse business interests using its wide portfolio of products, solutions and the latest innovations in this field.
Under the agreement, GE Water experts from the ASEAN region conducted an intensive two-day training program for Sealed Air executives from the Brewery, Beverage, Processed Food, Dairy and Food Service Sector Teams. This covered The Basics of Water and Water Treatment, Boiler Water Treatment, Cooling Water Treatment, Reverse Osmosis, Waste Water Treatment and Bio-Augmentation providing the participants the foundation for developing and experiencing water treatment for Sealed Air Hygiene Total Solutions package.
Regional heads from both GE Power and Water and Sealed Air were present during the event to give their respective messages to the participants.
Paul Budsworth, Sealed Air vice president for South East Asia, lauded the partnership and the subsequent training as a step towards offering a complete engineering and capabilities solution to Sealed Air customers’ cleaning and sanitization needs by incorporating a water treatment and management system aspect.
“As most may know, water is the main medium by which Sealed Air’s Cleaning Solutions are delivered to address customer’s cleaning needs,†he said.
