Angels in disguise

Go Negosyo has grown from an advocacy that supports entrepreneurship to an institution of inspiration and hope. The past seven years have been fruitful, but despite the successes that we are experiencing, I know that there is still so much work to do.

We are fortunate to have partners in the government and the private sector. But more importantly, Go Negosyo has its own group of experts who never ceases to inspire our audience with their personal stories and business knowledge.

Back in 2009, we launched our Angelpreneurs, a pool of seasoned entrepreneurship gurus who have the heart in devoting their time to mentor aspiring and existing negosyantes in their entrepreneurial journey. They have different areas of expertise ranging from education to business. 

Let me share a short background on our Angelpreneurs.

Francis Kong has been featured in many of the major business conventions and conferences both in the Philippines and abroad, teaching people to destroy the “small mind” thinking. 

As the chief marketing strategist of Mansmith and Fielders, Inc., Josiah L. Go has handled more than 500 seminar workshops on entrepreneurship in the county and in the world.

Francisco “Pax” Lapid is an experienced business consultant, entrepreneur, and professor, as well as co-author of Go Negosyo’s 21 Steps on How to Start your Own Business.

Anthony Pangilinan may be known as a media personality, but he is also the director and chief disturber of Inspire Leadership Consultancy, Inc.

Michael Angelo Lobrin is a former seminarian who became a motivational speaker. He also wrote the book Laugh with God Today.

Jay Bernardo III’s passion for excellence led him to establish LETS GO Foundation, an organization devoted to uplift entrepreneurship education.

Salt & Light Ventures CEO Ardy Roberto is the mind behind the hit booklet “Ang Perang Hindi Bitin”.

His stint as training manager at the Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corporation marked Ping Sotto’s career in the self-development area. He believes that everyone has a special gift that makes one marketable in a market place called the world.

Mary Joy Canon-Abaquin is one of the pioneers of progressive schooling in the country by founding the Multiple Intelligence International School.

Reuel Virtucio is a seasoned mentor and consultant in the fields of agribusiness, microfinance and micro enterprise development.

VCargo president’s Paulo Tibig literally worked his way up the ladder of success, taking up odd jobs while he was still a student until he was able to strike a “pot of gold” in the logistics business.

Ed Pilapil, Jr. is the CEO of Achiever’s Circle, Inc. Along with his accomplishments as a consultant and speaker, he also writes books on self-motivation.

Rommel Juan, president of Binalot, is used to the world of business since he was a kid. He used to work for his dad before he started his own negosyo.

The Franchise Guru of the Philippines’ Butz Bartolome has been a respected name in the field of franchising, with 30 years under his belt.

The Small Business Corporation’s Benel Lagua has made a number of innovative contributions in finance, and is credited for managing government financial institutions that have remained self-sustaining.

Marites Dimaculangan is a well-respected public accountant and a resource speaker for Understanding Accounting for SMEs.

Henry Tenedero is the president of Center for Learning and Teaching Styles Philippines (CLTS). He does people development and teacher training seminars anchored in their One Nation Learning Advocacy. 

Jorge Wieneke is a consultant and think tank for many clients, as well as the face of PLDT KaAsenso.

Randell Tiongson is the Director of the Registered Financial Planner Institute Philippines and an adviser on financial literacy of the Blas F. Ople Policy Center.

Felta Multimedia, Inc.’s Mylene Abiva focused on providing quality learning materials, and is an advocate of E-ducation and Robotics.

Carlo Calimon, who took his MBA degree at the Asian Institute of Management, is the director of LET’S GO. He also teaches at the Assumption College.

Prof. Luis T. Cruz has mentored a growing number of small and large enterprises alike with industries ranging from services to IT.

Lastly, Go Negosyo’s Executive Director Ramon Lopez is an intrapreneur and is one of the key officers of RFM Corporation.
