Boracay Regency Group Chairman Receives Tourism Personality Of The Year Award

MANILA, Philippines - The Rotary Club of Manila has honored Henry O. Chusuey, chairman of the Boracay Regency Group (now called Henann Resorts Group), with this year’s Tourism Personality of the Year Award for Resort Category. This was presented at the 8th Annual Tourism Awards held recently at the Manila Polo Club in Makati City. The Henann Resorts Group manages the Boracay Regency Beach Resort and Spa, Regency Lagoon Resort and Boracay Garden Resort. It operates a total of 606 rooms — the most in the island as well as a 12-villa resort in Alona Beach, Panglao Island, in Bohol. Chusuey is also the chairman of the board of trustees of the Boracay Foundation Inc., an association of hotel and business owners in Boracay and a board member of the Federation of the Filipino-Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
