Presidents past and present in 'Esquire'
MANILA, Philippines - Esquire Philippines is the only magazine in the country to feature the four living presidents of the Philippines — President Benigno S. Aquino III, Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo, Joseph Ejercito Estrada, and Fidel V. Ramos — in a single cover. The January-February issue, dubbed the “Meaning of Life” issue, features exclusive interviews with the four living presidents.
“Given the theme ‘the meaning of life,’ there was no question about the people we wanted to headline the issue,” says Esquire Philippines editor-in-chief Erwin Romulo, who conducted the interview with former President Arroyo. “The four living presidents are the ones who can give the most insights into the pulse of the country as well as share some thoughts on a wide array of topics that every Filipino man will be able to relate to.”
