'Cosmo' releases career special

-

MANILA, Philippines - The transition to the corporate world can be stressful for any fresh graduate. That’s why in July, Cosmopolitan released a Campus and Career Special to help workplace newbies become fun, fearless, and fabulous in the workplace.

Cosmo shows how school-acquired skills on speaking up, being organized, note taking, and managing time can all prove essential to surviving the first few months as an office newcomer. Also included are the five things professors don’t teach that are necessary to survival in the “real world.”

Chart your own course to success as Cosmo features five young women who reveal their secrets to being successful. According to editor-in-chief Zo Aguila, “Success doesn’t have to be complicated. The process may be tedious, the work may be overwhelming, but it shouldn’t have to be painful… I’m truly convinced that we’re all blessed with the potential to be amazing.”

Cosmo also gives tips on job-hunting, over 140 fashion finds perfect for the workplace and how to channel school spirit with university-inspired pieces. Also on offer is a free manicure at Nail-a-holics, Hollywood Nails, and Hair and Nails Salon. For more details, the July issue of Cosmopolitan magazine with Toni Gonzaga on the cover is available at newsstands, bookstores, and supermarkets nationwide.
