Immigrate to Canada in 6 to 12 months

-

MANILA, Philippines - In December 2008, Canadian Immigration released a list of 39 occupations identified by the Minister of Citizenship, Immigration and Multiculturalism whose permanent residence application will be prioritized in processing. Doctors, registered nurses, medical radiation technologists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, audiologists and speech language pathologists, CPAs, professors, chefs/cooks, hotel and restaurant managers, financial managers, construction managers, computer and information systems managers, and mining engineers, to name a few, are among those occupations that are being processed now in six to 12 months’ time.

Despite worldwide recession, Canada still believes in the contribution that every immigrant brings to Canada, especially to its economy. So it continues to support and expand its immigration program and has even put priority on processing 39 occupations.

“Ever since this priority processing started, we have applicants/clients who have received their immigrant visas in less than 12 months; the shortest of which is six months,” said Nikou Sichani, Canadian immigration consultant of Canadian Opportunities Unlimited, Inc. (COUI) and a member of the Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants (CSIC). “However, a lot of work should be done to make sure that their occupations are indeed included in the priority list of the Canadian Minister of Citizenship, that they have met still the required minimum passing mark of 67 points, and that their documents are authentic.”

COUI has been in the immigration consulting business for 11 years. COUI has been successfully sending many clients to permanently live in Canada. One satisfied client has this to say about the priority processing and professional service of COUI: “I came to know COUI from my brother, who immigrated to Canada in 2006 with the help of COUI. At first I was hesitant to apply because of the long application process then. But when COUI explained to me the priority processing and told me that I was qualified, I immediately lodged my application with their help. With COUI’s honest and sincere approach, professional services and diligence in documentation, I received my notice of visa to Canada in five months and did not have to go for an interview,” said Wema Mojar, a medical radiation technologist.
