Business writing workshop set

MANILA, Philippines - The Effective Business Writing Workshop, with a focus on grammar improvement, is set for April 25 at 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. at the Filipinas Heritage Library in Makati. The workshop speaker, Isabelita O. Reyes, is an associate professor at the UP Department of English and Comparative Literature, where she obtained her undergraduate, masteral and doctoral degrees in creative writing. She is also assistant vice president for public affairs and director of the UP System Information Office. She has worked as an editor for LegManila and the Philippines Free Press. She regularly conducts business writing seminars for companies and organizations.

Workshop fee is P2,500 and inclusive of handouts, materials, snacks and a certificate. A downpayment of P500 is required upon registration, which is until April 17.
