In time for the holiday, Google has compiled statistics about the most frequently used emojis in Gboard, Google’s virtual keyboard for Android and iOS that makes typing easier and more fun.
First off, here is a look at the top 10 most frequently used emoji globally. Many of us use emoji to express love and share all the feels, happy or sad — or when we simply want to LOL .

To celebrate this day, Google has also released an artificial intelligence experiment called Emoji Scavenger Hunt, a free browser-based game that challenges players to find emojis in real life.
