WATCH: Welcome dinner, cultural performance highlights in APEC 2015

MANILA, Philippines — The barong-clad world leaders enjoyed a colorful and vibrant cultural performance during the welcome dinner held in MOA Arena, in conjunction with the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) summit in Manila.

Accompanied by a sumptuous menu, the night featured a program showing Philippines's traditional dance and the best of Filipino talents. The garden-like set up of the venue also provided a cozy environment to the guests.

Performers of the night included Jessica Sanchez, Charice Pempengco, Arnel Pineda, apl.de.ap with child sensation Reynan Dal-anay, Jed Madela,  Gary Valenciano, Martin Nievera and Cecille Licad,  together with internationally acclaimed groups like the Madrigal Singers, Douglas Nierras’ Powerdance, El Gamma Penumbra, Ramon Obusan Folkloric Group and the Makiling Ensemble.
