The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - “Notre Divergence” is a mix of classical realism, a middle ground of impressionism, and a futuristic touch of modernism. The exhibit features Luna Arguelles, Pilar L. Quiros and Margie Ribaya Villonco. It will be held on Nov. 14 at L’arc en Ciel Atelier.

Luna Arguelles, a call center director before she decided to concentrate on art, attended the Florence Art Academy. In this show she presents “A Mermaid in the Moonlight.”  Pilar L. Quiros has been in Larcenciel’s stable of artists for 12 years and has attended workshops in Lenno, Lake Como and Mia Herbosa workshops in Larcenciel. She presents “Lotus of Prosperity” in the exhibit.  Margie Ribaya Villonco studied art in Marymount University in Arlington Virgina. She attended a Lake Como workshop with Impressionist Jerry Fresia. She presents “Beautiful Mind” in the exhibit.

The three artists have had shows in Ayala Museum, ManilArt, Bellevue Hotel, Tagaytay Highlands and have participated in Art in the Park.
