‘Junk Shop’ at SM Art Center

MANILA, Philippines - Addie Cukingnan, Flor Baradi, Rey Aurelio, Azor Pazcoguin, Lei Manto, Jeff Baligad, Pong Bayog, Erwin Mallari, Sam Penaso, Marge Lim, Ronnie Lim, Louie Ignacio, Rodel Omampo, Edu Pereras, Jeline Laporga, Joselito Jandayan, Demosthenes Campos, Rey Ademis, Jun Tiongco, Lotsu Manes, Xavier Abelador, Art Zamora, Shirley Tan, Vincent Lavega, and Jun Cambel salvage discarded or rejected images, materials and objects — “turning trash into treasure” — through the mediating power of artistic vision in “Junk Shop,” which opens on Oct. 17 at SM Art Center, SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong city. The show runs until Oct. 20.
