‘East Meets West’ at ArtistSpace, Ayala Museum

MANILA, Philippines - Inspired by the Barnes Foundation in Philadelphia, USA which houses more than 3,000 Impressionist, Post Impressionist and Expressionist masterpieces in a unique manner, L’arc en Ciel presents “East Meets West,” an exhibit featuring the works of L’arc en Ciel artists (East) back-to-back with artists from the Art Students League of New York (West), which opens on Aug. 30 at the ground floor, Ayala Museum Annex, Makati City.

Representing the West are Mia Herbosa, Mark Kevin Gonzales, Yeemee Lee and Jennifer Fairbanks. They are products of the Art Students’ League of New York. The East artists are Luna Arguelles, JV Calanoc, Jankarlo Cortez, Ram Skyler de Leon, Alfred Galura, Elaine Herbosa, Nina Herbosa, Stephanie Honrado, Carla Kim, Connie Quirino, Pilar L. Quiros, Alex Sibug and Margie R. Villonco.
