Salcedo Auctions presents ‘Art Today: Contemporary Philippine Art + The Estate Sale’

MANILA, Philippines - Salcedo Auctions celebrates the joy of collecting with “Art Today: Contemporary Philippine Art + The Estate Sale” on June 21. This auction is about the thrill of the hunt, and the exhilaration that comes from discovering and successfully bidding for that thing of beauty, that object of desire — the consuming passion that one simply can’t live without. 

Collectors are invited to spend their leisure time at Salcedo and indulge their consuming passion.There’s truly something for everyone in this day-long sale, from affordable modern and antique furniture, objets d’art, silver, porcelain and jewelry during the first part of The Estate Sale at 11 a.m., to works by the country’s emerging and established contemporary artists including John Santos, Brian Uhing, Rodel Tapaya and Ronald Ventura during Art Today at 2 p.m. 

Part 2 of The Estate Sale at 4 p.m. features a wide array of works by local and international artists, as well as vintage books and antique maps for those who appreciate nurturing their higher senses and find that, above everything else, true value comes from having a sense of place and a better appreciation of oneself.
