Gallery News: Alfredo Liongoren and Erik Liongoren at Balesin Island Club

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Alfredo Liongoren and photographer son Erik hold “Balesin on My Mind,” a two-man benefit show, which opens on May 15 at the Balesin Island Club, Polilio group of islands, Quezon. The show runs until June 14.

Alfredo showcases a series of semi-abstract paintings — which were done before he set foot on Balesin, yet carry surprising and uncanny impressions he had of the island upon his first visit — shown back to back with Erik’s documentation of Balesin in 2005.

Jointly presented by Alphaland Corporation and Liongoren Gallery, the show will benefit the Operation Blessing Philippines’ rehab efforts in Typhoon Yolanda affected areas in Samar and Leyte.

Those who purchase any of the paintings will receive a complimentary stay at Balesin Island Club
