Medge Olivares at Whitespace
Medge Olivares explored energy and a play of light in “Burst,†the country’s first Fractal Art installation, which was held recently at White Space, Chino Roces Ave. Ext., Makati City.
Fractal Art is a subclass of two-dimensional visual art, and is in many respects similar to photography.
For the show, Olivares combined forces with Joey Ayala who performed a live set blending techno and indigenous timbres — capturing the essence of fractal art as modern and new, yet familiar.
