Gallery News: Three shows at Finale Art File

The Philippine Star

MANILA, Philippines - Marina Cruz, Nikki Ocean and Kim Oliveros hold simultaneous solo shows, which are on view until June 27 at Finale Art File, Warehouse 17, La Fuerza, 2241 Chino Roces Ave., Makati City.

At the Tall Gallery, Cruz explores the every day — seeking fresh form and ordered beauty — in the fabrics and blooms used to embellish the ordinary in “Floral Arrangement.”

At the Upstairs Gallery, Oliveros represents the geisha engaged in various activities — from reading a newspaper to tying the obi sash — in “Exquisite Enigma.”

At the Video Room, Ocean invites viewers inside a surreal world — a tiger eating flowers, whales moving through the sky, sharks and blooms moving through color — in “Wet on Wet: the Cusp before the Beach House.”
