Monina Macam’s latest works at Chef Jessie

MANILA, Philippines - Dr. Monina Macam, noted dermatologist, holds her fourth solo exhibit at Chef Jessie Rockwell Club, which is on view until March 8.  “Flowers in Bloom” features the latest luminous prismatic backlit acrylic paintings of her favorite flowers: magnolia, iris, and calla lily. Macam expresses variations of this theme with abstract renditions accented with gold leaf, copper, and silver.  Photo shows Dr. Macam (fourth from left) with her work, “Magnolia” in the background. She is flanked by Dr. Mayette Carpio Baccay, Dr. Letty Palomar, Marilou Carpio and director Sandra Palima Quan of the Metropolitan Museum.
