Silent auction for Arroceros

MANILA, Philippines - Art, antiques and collectibles will go on sale on Nov. 15, 5 p.m., at a silent auction to be held at the Orchid Garden Hotel on Vito Cruz. Sponsored by the Winner Foundation, the auction will benefit the Arroceros Forest Park, which the foundation maintains and develops. A Chinese scroll, a Nepalese tanka, brass and silver trays, Cambodian silver objects, and a brass and marble side table are among a broad range of offerings, galore as well as art books and magazines. Cocktails will be served before the silent auction closes at 8 p.m. Regina Paterno is the president and Baby Amisola is the chairman of the Winner Foundation.
