New Diaz novel to be launched

MANILA, Philippines - Quita y Pone, the third and last part of Rony V. Diaz’s three-part novel, Canticles for Three Women, will be launched on May 26, 5 p.m. at Solidaridad Bookshop. Canticles gathers in one volume At War’s End, The Adventures of Candida, and Quita y Pone. It is an historical novel that speaks to the present state of Philippine society. It is published by the book division of the Manila Times. The launch is jointly sponsored by the Philippine PEN and the Manila Times. The author will to sign the first copies of the novel.
