Aaron Thomas holds workshop on writing for TV
MANILA, Philippines - Aaron Thomas — an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California, and writer and producer of the hit TV shows CSI:NY, Friday Night Lights, and Numbers — will give a two-day workshop on March 26 and 27 on writing the one-hour television drama.
The workshop will cover the basics of writing the TV narrative as well as delve into the process of professional TV writing in Hollywood. While the format to be covered will be specifically the television drama, it will also be of great benefit to anyone who wants to learn about writing a narrative, whether it’s for TV, film, theater or prose in whatever genre ( be it telenovela, comedy, horror, etc).
The two-day workshop will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Mini-Amphitheater at the Ateneo Professional Schools in Rockwell, Makati. Workshop fee is P4,500 per person (not including lunch) and P3,500 for students with valid ID. Because of the limited number of seats available, interested parties are urged to register early.
