CTE presents 'Love, Loss, and What I Wore'
MANILA, Philippines - Love, Loss, and What I Wore, an intimate collection of stories about life and fashion by Nora and Delia Ephron (Sleepless In Seattle, When Harry Met Sally, Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants, etc.), vividly recounts the highlights in the lives of different women by recalling the clothes or accessories they wore during those significant moments. Since its debut in 2009 in New York, the show has never failed to garner praise from critics, and delight its female audiences who found the stories very close to their hearts.
Love, Loss, and What I Wore tackles humorous and poignant stories about love, courage, marriage, family, survival, and a lot of “first times” (first bra, first date, first kiss, first broken heart, first baby, etc.) through the clothes and accessories worn during these milestones in a woman’s life.
The show features theater luminary and current associate artistic director of Repertory Philippines, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo; veteran theater actress, writer, and emerging director, Cathy Azanza-Dy; multi-talented actress, acute businesswoman, and current treasurer of Repertory Philippines, Liza Infante-Robinson; thespian and music sensation Bituin Escalante; and acclaimed classical vocalist and theater performer Jay Valencia-Glorioso. It is directed by the same tandem behind the hit show Defending The Caveman, Michael Williams and Cathy Azanza-Dy.
Love, Loss, and What I Wore is presented by CTE Productions in cooperation with HerWord.com, and RCBC Plaza. The show runs on Jan. 20, 21, and 22, at the Carlos P. Romulo Auditorium, fourth floor, RCBC Plaza, Ayala Ave. corner Sen. Gil Puyat Ave., Makati City. Shows are at 8 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and with Saturday and Sunday matinees at 3:30 p.m.
