MCO Foundation and Filipinas Heritage Library present 14-year-old piano prodigy

-

MANILA, Philippines - The Manila Chamber Orchestra Foundation (MCOF), in partnership with the Filipinas Heritage Library, presents the young piano prodigy Lorenzo Medel in a concert slated on March 3, 7 p.m., at the Filipinas Heritage Library (formerly Nielson Tower), Ayala Triangle, Makati City, as part of the MCO Young Artists Series 2011.

Medel started playing the piano in early 2005 at age of nine with his brother Andrew guiding him. In 2008, Lorenzo made his MCO debut wherein the event was considered the recital of the year by a young artist. Last year, he made his astonishing tour de force performance during his second solo recital at the Philamlife Theater performing Beethoven’s 3rd concerto with the Manila Symphony Orchestra.

At present, Lorenzo is a second year high school student at La Salle Green Hills and wishes to pursue a career in music.

For tickets, call Ticketworld at 891-9999, Filipinas Heritage Library at 892-1801 or 0917-5612413, and MCO Foundation at 750-0768 and 0920-9540053.
