John Van De Steen Male Choir at Abelardo Hall

MANILA, Philippines - The John Van de Steen Male Choir will perform in “Encore,” an evening of choral music at the UP Diliman Abelardo Hall, on Feb. 20, 7 p.m. The group will be joined by the Ave Maria Male Choir from California, US. The former tiples of the Manila Cathedral choir and former members of the Ave Maria Male Choir from St. Peter and St. Paul Parish in Makati will perform in a nostalgic homecoming concert. They share one thing in common: the passion for choral singing and the predominant air of the music of the late Fr. John Van de Steen, C.I.C.M., or “Father John” as he is fondly remembered.
