UST Christmas concert gala at Lifestyle Network, Cinema One and Studio 23

MANILA, Philippines - The eighth UST Christmas concert gala of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) will be aired on Dec. 24, Friday, at 10 p.m. on the Lifestyle Network, on Dec. 26, Monday, at 10 p.m. on Cinema One, and on 31 Dec. 31, Friday, at 10 p.m. on Studio 23. The concert gala that had its grand staging on Dec. 2, 6:30 p.m., at the Santisimo Rosario Parish ushers in the Yuletide season, and has a stellar cast of Thomasian musical gems led by 2010 Choir of the World UST Singers, the UST Symphony Orchestra, the UST Brass Ensemble, soprano Rachelle Gerodias, and pianist Raul Sunico, president of the Cultural Center of the Philippines and dean of the UST Conservatory of Music. The chairpersons of the gala are Fr. Isidro C. Abaño, O.P., executive director for UST Quadricentennial Activities and Highlights, and Maricris C. Zobel, art patroness.

The University will also be featured in the upcoming episode of Travel Time (shown on ANC) titled “The University of Santo Tomas: Treasures of a Campus,” with replay telecasts today at 6 p.m., and Dec. 24, Friday, at 2:30 a.m., is also in line with the 400th anniversary celebration of the University.
