MBC holds national choral competition

MANILA, Philippines - As part of its annual “Paskong Pinoy” celebrations, the Manila Broadcasting Company (MBC) holds the MBC National Choral Competition, which is slated from Dec. 6 to 10 at the Star Theater in Pasay city.
Now in its fourth year, the competition has drawn 44 of the top vocal harmony groups from all over the archipelago, following a three-month series of regional eliminations in both the children’s choir division and the open category.
The contest has been designed to draw public attention to the outstanding vocal talent in schools, churches, offices, and the community at large but, at the same time, provides grassroots entertainment.
