Young Artists' Dance Camp at The Fort
MANILA, Philippines - The CCP Dance School of dance company Ballet Philippines will be holding the Young Artists’ Dance Camp at Arts in the City, Fort Bonifacio Global City beginning May 17. A weeklong activity, the event will allow participants to hone their craft through comprehensive training in general dance education and related art fields.
The camp will offer classes in Hip-hop, Jazz, Musical Theater, Contemporary Dance/Creative Movement and Visual Art Basics for children ages 7 to 9 and 10 to 12 with little or no dance background. This will give young people a platform for self-expression and a positive environment where they can be with peers who share the same passion for the arts.
Ballet Philippines has been playing a very active role in dance education in the country for the past 40 years. Other program offerings include the CCP Summer Dance Workshop, Regular year-round classes, the Regional Dance Workshop, the Teachers and Choreographers’ Training Program and the Scholarship Program. Countless Ballet Philippines artists and alumni are now leading dancers and dance professionals here and abroad.
