Art workshops at Ayala Museum
MANILA, Philippines - Ayala Museum will hold three art workshops this summer: Basic Acrylic Painting, Basic Chinese Painting, and Chinese Painting for Kids.
The Basic Acrylic Class will be handled by Neo-Angono artist Aaron Bautista. It will be an eight-session Saturday workshop starting on May 8 from 4 to 7 p.m. Fee is P6,000 for non-members and P5,000 for members.
Basic Chinese Painting will be conducted by Alex Chan Lim of the Confucius Institute of the Ateneo de Manila University. It is an eight-session Friday workshop starting May 7 from 6 to 9 p.m. Fee is P6,000 for non-members and P5,000 for members.
Chinese Painting for Kids will be conducted by Rolex and Jolex Chan Lim. It is a four-session workshop from April 17, 24, May 8 and 15, from 2 to 4 p.m. Fee is P3,000 for members and P4,000 for non-members.

Philippine Opera Company offers music lessons
Philippine Opera Company introduces the Philippine Opera Center for the Performing Arts. The center is aimed at training individuals and groups who are interested in honing their skills in voice, musical instruments, and stage movement.
For summer, the center offers voice, piano, guitar, violin lessons and “Music and Movement” for toddlers, children and pre-teens.

PETA holds summer theater arts workshop
The Philippine Educational Theater Association (PETA) holds its annual Summer Theater Arts Workshop from April 13 to May 15 at the PETA Theater Center, 5 Eymard Drive, Brgy. Kristong Hari, New Manila, QC.
Courses offered are Children’s Theater 1 & 2, Teen Theater, Theater Arts, Basic Acting, Creative Musical Theater, Creative Dance Theater and the Creative Pedagogy. The latter will be held from May 17 to May 21.
