Ballet Manila holds workshops and auditions
MANILA, Philippines - The Ballet Manila Summer School Workshop is an excellent springboard to a career in ballet. Ballet offers a shot at international fame, a chance to travel, and artistic fulfillment.
In preparation for the workshop, Ballet Manila is holding auditions on March 6, Saturday, and March 7, Sunday, for scholars as well as potential company members and apprentices. Venue is the Ballet Manila studios at 1915 Donada St., Pasay City. Registration for prospective scholars starts at 10 a.m. with the audition proper at 2 p.m. A P200 registration fee will be charged.
Qualified applicants must be between 12-15 years old for girls and 6 to 18 years old for boys.
Applicants who will not qualify for the scholarship are invited to enroll as regular students in the Summer Workshop.
The Summer Workshop will culminate with a two-day recital on May 22 and 23 at the Star Theater, Star City, CCP Complex Pasay City.
