Repertory Philippines takes on 'Romeo & Bernadette'
MANILA, Philippines - Romeo wakes up in 1960, and as he wakes up from centuries of coma, he catches sight of the love of his life — Juliet. She’s alive! But she’s not Juliet. Not by a long shot. She’s Bernadette, daughter of the disreputable, most feared mob chief Sal Penza.
This is Repertory Philippines’ latest offering titled Romeo & Bernadette, which opens on Feb. 5 at 8 p.m. at Onstage, second floor, Greenbelt 1, Paseo de Roxas cor. Legazpi St., Makati. The show runs for the rest of the month’s Fridays and weekends thereafter, with matinees at 3:30 p.m. For inquiries and tickets, call 887-0710 or visit repertory.ph, or 891-9999 or visit ticketworld.com.ph.
