Philpost issues Christmas carol stamps

MANILA, Philippines - The Philippine Postal Corporation released its Christmas carol stamps.
The world’s longest and merriest season is celebrated with the issuance of the Pasko 2009: Filipino Christmas Carol, Ang Pasko ay Sumapit stamps inspired by traditional song written by National Artist Levi Celerio.
“The specially designed stamps come in a unique presentation of the traditional Christmas carol, the birth of Jesus Christ, and the Filipino values which form part of our Christian faith,” says postmaster general Hector Villanueva.
