Syano Artlink and Tawid Publications mount show
MANILA, Philippines - Syano Artlink presents the Paghimakas group art exhibit and Tawid Publications launches newly-packaged CDs to be held in cooperation with the Claudio Teehankee Foundation on Nov. 16, 6:30 p.m. at the Claudio Teehankee Foundation, fourth floor, Ateneo Professional Schools, 20 Rockwell Drive, Rockwell, Makati City.
The featured Syano Artlink artists are Bogie Alvarado, Burog Alvarado, Nonaliza Alvarado, Nuklar Alvarado, Nunelucio Alvarado, Bert Berondo, Leon Carton, Sandy Coberos, Nonoy Etabag, Chin Guanzon, Joan of Art, Telok Lamis, Jeffrey Montano, Bopeep Montinola, Dave Palanca, and Edbon Sevellino. The Paghimakas Group Art Exhibit is on view until Dec. 1.
Coinciding with the exhibit opening is the launch of Tawid Publications’ newly-packaged “Cariñosa: A Collection of Visayan Songs and Folk Dances,” recorded on piano by Raul Sunico, and “Ugnayan sa Tugtugan: A Treasury of Philippine Music,” recorded by the UST Conservatory of Music Performing Groups.
