'Regarding Franz' launch at UP

MANILA, Philippines - Regarding Franz, a collection of essays celebrating the life and times of the late National Artist for literature Franz Arcellana, will be launched on Oct. 27, 3 p.m., at the Faculty Center conference hall of UP Diliman.

The UP Centennial publication gathers together essays by friends and colleagues, students and family including fellow National Artist Nick Joaquin, Butch Dalisay, Recah Trinidad, Jing Hidalgo, Gemino Abad, Romina Gonzalez, Edwin Cordevilla, Divina Aromin, Doreen Yu, Danton Remoto, Jose Esteban Arcellana and others. The book was edited by Elizabeth Arcellana and Lydia Rodriguez, with cover design by Mayi Panlilio. Violinist Joseph Esmilla is slated to play at the launch.
