Marc Josef Velasquez and Regina Jardiolin at Paseo

MANILA, Philippines - UP College of Fine Arts students Marc Josef Velasquez and Regina Jardiolin mount “The Space Monkeys,” which opens on June 23 at the Paseo Gallery, fourth floor, SM Megamall A, Mandaluyong City.

Velasquez presents stark, almost minimal images that revolve around spatial relationships between two principles, while Jardiolin shows artworks in small frames that draw the viewer into her space.

Velasquez says, “Small things are at the core of our resources, the stuff from which everything springs forth.”

The show, curated by Jonathan Olazo, is on view until July 6.
