‘New Figuration’ at BenCab Museum’s Indigo Gallery

MANILA, Philippines – BenCab Museum’s Indigo Gallery features the recent works of 29 artists in an exhibit titled “New Figuration,” which opens on Easter Sunday, April 12, at 5 p.m. The show is on view until May 12.

“New Figuration” features the artworks of Ambie Abaño, Leonardo Aguinaldo, Marcel Antonio, Virgilio “Pandy” Aviado, Welbart Bartolome, Igan D’Bayan, Plet Bolipata, Elmer Borlongan, BenCab, Marina Cruz, Kiko Escora, James Gabito, Emmanuel Garibay, Kawayan de Guia, Winner Jumalon, Mark Justiniani, Willy Magtibay, Joy Mallari, Jose Tence Ruiz, John Frank Sabado, Popo San Pascual, Aman Santos, Jose Santos III, Emmanuel Santos, Pam Yan Santos, Rodel Tapaya, Roger “Rishab” Tibon, Ronald Ventura, and Wig Tysmans.

The BenCab Museum has four large galleries that house the artist’s collection of Philippine contemporary art and indigenous Cordillera tribal art.
