CASA Y JARDIN (The Christmas Bazaar since the 50’s)

The Catholic Women’s Club’s  much awaited event, CASA Y JARDIN will have two bazaars to be held at the grand ballroom of Hotel Intercontinental on:

OCTOBER 14 AND 21, 2007
SUNDAY
9:00 A.M. – 6:00 P.M.


What sets CASA Y JARDIN apart from other bazaars is that, it has a feature unique only to CASA Y JARDIN which is the sale of the limited edition mother and child porcelain plate. Now on its 22nd series, the featured artist for 2007 is the well known artist Tam Austria.

The gold elephant table which is very popular among shoppers carries various items donated by generous members and will be sold at give-away prices.

Another feature is the sale of maid’s uniforms sewn by women who were trained sewing skills through CWC’s INITIATIVE. CWC funded the building of a social hall and purchased sewing machines to provide employment to housewives living at Gawad Kalinga Community on Manila.

Chairperson for the 2007 bazaar Nikki Valerio under the leadership of President Tessie Rodrigo. Her co-chairpersons are Marilen Elizalde and Ane Preysler. The other members of the committee are Mimi Valerio, Tess Castro, Nene Leonor, Chloe Periquet, Nonie Basilio, Karen Macasaet, Myrna Borromeo, Carmen Silverio-Roxas, Caminia Mantecon, Charrie Lim, Linda Pastoral, Baby Gloria, Terry Tambunting, Milo Bondoc, Letty Hahn, Rose Lazaro, Lulu Castañeda, Shirley Uy and Sofia Elizalde

Shopping will be a pleasure for both bazaars will be selling varied items form christmas decor, branded clothes – export over-runs, antiques, jewelry, housewares, bags, clothing accessories, shoes & slippers, toys and a lot more.

CWC was able to build 3 pavilions at Elsie Gaches village for the mentally handicapped from its various fund-raising activities. Proceeds of these bazaars will be for the benefit of CWC’s more than 100 charities.

Than grand raffle prizes for each bazaar will be a gift certificate worth P25,000 from Lili Jewelry donated by CWC member Lili Andina  

Visa and matercard will be accepted.
